TRAINING CENTRE
Ogilvie Dogs training centre is open 7 days a week from 7am-10pm and is a premier UK training venue used by the best trainers in all disciplines to host courses, workshops and seminars.
Easily accessible from all over the United Kingdom, the Ogilvie Dogs Training Centre is a purpose-built 20m x 54m indoor dog training venue nestled into the Lincolnshire countryside.
Home to internationally renowned canine experts Craig and Marita Ogilvie, the dog training centre is well equipped to host trainers from all disciplines including heelwork (with or without music), obedience, flyball, seminars and workshops along with agility. Complete with a full set of competition grade Galican equipment, sound system and car parking, there’s no better place to train dogs than right here.
The centre is also available to hire for personal training in any discipline. The Juta astroturf is ideal for Crufts and Discover Dogs training preparation, and is the same surface used in the FCI Agility World Championships.

Morning Session:
• Discussion & reflection: You’ll begin with discussions based on presentations from Fiona, which will involve reflecting on your approach to competitive agility. You will complete your first competitive run and reflect on your thoughts, feelings and actions before, during and after the run. You will be given individual exercises to work through to help structure your thoughts.
• Strategy Development: Afterward, the focus will shift to discussing strategies for managing and processing these thoughts and feelings more constructively.
• Competition: You’ll get a chance to apply these new strategies in another competitive run, which serves as a practical test.
Afternoon Session:
• Reflection and Review: You’ll revisit the strategies from the morning to evaluate their effectiveness. There will be discussions about how to adapt, develop and add to them.
• Pressurized Competition: You’ll then use the refined strategies in a more challenging competition, putting the adjustments to the test.
• Wrap-up and Future Planning: Finally, the day will end with a review of the whole process and creating an individual plan for moving forward.
