TRAINING CENTRE
Ogilvie Dogs training centre is open 7 days a week from 7am-10pm and is a premier UK training venue used by the best trainers in all disciplines to host courses, workshops and seminars.
Easily accessible from all over the United Kingdom, the Ogilvie Dogs Training Centre is a purpose-built 20m x 54m indoor dog training venue nestled into the Lincolnshire countryside.
Home to internationally renowned canine experts Craig and Marita Ogilvie, the dog training centre is well equipped to host trainers from all disciplines including heelwork (with or without music), obedience, flyball, seminars and workshops along with agility. Complete with a full set of competition grade Galican equipment, sound system and car parking, there’s no better place to train dogs than right here.
The centre is also available to hire for personal training in any discipline. The Juta astroturf is ideal for Crufts and Discover Dogs training preparation, and is the same surface used in the FCI Agility World Championships.

A Full-Day Scent Work Seminar with Jasmin Barron-Harris
About Jazz
Jasmin (Jazz) holds a BSc (Hons) in Canine Behaviour Management alongside a Foundation Degree in Applied Canine Behaviour and Training. Her detection qualifications span explosives, drugs, pyrotechnics and tracking, trained and assessed to NASDU Level 4. She is a Scentwork UK instructor, a National Nosework Association judge and assessor, and a World Scent Dog Association instructor.
Before all of that, she was competing in gundog trials and scurries as a kid. Nosework isn’t a career pivot for Jazz – it’s been her whole life.
Whether you’re brand new to nosework or you’ve been searching for a while and feel like something’s missing, this seminar is built for you.
We’re going ground up. That means we’re not skipping the foundations that most people never get taught, and we’re not dumbing it down for the experienced handlers either.
You’ll leave with an understanding of the reasons your dog does what it does in a search, how odour actually moves, why your handling is either helping or hurting, and what you need to do differently to get consistent, reliable results.
On The Day:
🧠 Morning – Theory & Q&A (90 minutes)
A proper deep dive into the science and strategy behind nosework, covering how odour moves and how air flow affects the search, motivation and what actually drives a reliable working dog, markers and when each approach applies, the real difference between reinforcing and rewarding, and how to identify your own handler faults.
🐾 Practical Sessions (two working blocks across the afternoon)
Jasmin will work through search breakdowns and area clearance patterns, handling decisions, negative indications, what to do when things go wrong, double blinds, and trialling preparation.
